Spiritual Bach
“The audience at the Hof experienced a bridge between East and West, meditation and mysticism, composition and improvisation. The way this spiritually inclined artist interwove the different elements into a single unity was a fascinating and holistic experience for both the senses and the ears.”
Die OberBadische

Spiritual Bach is an immersive sound experience born from the depths of the soul. It weaves together Johann Sebastian Bach’s iconic Cello Suites with contemporary improvisations and chants from diverse traditions, unfolding in the present moment to create a profound and lasting bond between performer and audience.
The project unveils the timeless essence of Bach as a spiritual language, transforming his music into a bridge between the classical and the mystical.
“…His Bach flows naturally, flexibly, from within himself, with absolute ease, as if technical difficulties did not exist; without vanity, without artifice, and without romantic excess.”

Improvisation is the perfect tool to access the energy of the moment and transform it through music.
It opens the possibility of connecting with the audience in a direct way, free from structural or formal limitations, and of delivering a profound, present message—real for that precise instant.
The combination of both techniques reminds me of certain laws of nature, where exact numerical proportions coexist with subtle and subjective aspects that go beyond logic, connecting us to the emotional dimension of the human being.
